Hey everyone, thanks for welcoming some of my friends from Nihil Obstat and myself into your fold. I wanted to drop a quick note and introduce myself to those of you who don't know me, since one of my favorite things about N.O. were the bonds we had as friends beyond merely enjoying crushing evil together.
In real life, I'm a 22 year old recent college grad with a degree in Music Production and Engineering who just moved to Los Angeles to pursue some sort of career in the music industry. At the moment, I'm working at a world class recording studio (www.thevillagerecorder.com) and playing WoW in my free time. Because my current job is kind of crazy with the scheduling, I'll be on at random hours but I do log in most every day. Otherwise, I play guitar and work on some freelance music projects.
In WoW, my main is a paladin - Lextalionus and I've got a mix of nax10/heroics gear across all three sets. I initially rolled the character to tank, but have been Ret about 75% of the time since 3.0 hit, due to the possibly unique problem of being in a guild with plenty of tanks. I've got my original character (Rogue), a warrior and DK alts, all slowly climbing towards the level cap. I enjoy learning more about the game and I take an interest into more complicated mechanics and strategies. I'm always happy to talk and learn about classes, bosses, crafting, whatever. I prefer to enjoy the game, but I would rather have fun through success than by goofing around and wasting time.
Looking forward to getting to know you all,
Jesse |
