hey guys, im not an officer or class leader or anything but ive been playing a shaman since pre-bc and have played everyspec during both BC raid content and WOTLK raid content. Id love to answer any questions or concerns with the class to the best of my ability and ill try to look up some nifty forums and list them for my fellow shammeh buddies ^_^

i apologize if this was out of line since im not an officer or class leader and in no position to officially give advise but thought i would offer my services as a friend and guildmate ^_^

naw dude, it's always encouraged for guildies to help each other out with classes, gearing, strats, personal loans... Okay, not personal loans...

Anyways, just don't misinform already confused people is all I ask. If you're going to steer people in the right direction, be sure to know your shit. But since you're offering up your input and help to your class, I'm guessing you're confident enough in your class knowledge for this not to be an issue.

not to sound arrogant but shammies r the class i know most bout, know a lil bout every class cuz i have 1 of ever class to atleast 60 but shammies r my babies ^_^

there are 2 ways to play enhance pve:
(both of which need to be spell capped at 368ish which is without sp or boomkin i believe)
flame style and earth style.

flame style starts out strong if say you have bad gear but doesnt scale well and is a really complicated/rough rotation

test prove that earth style scales better and is a much simpler rotation. the above forum is a earth style forum for the most part i believe.(very mana intensive if sham rage isnt used correctly)

^amazing guide love it, pre 3.1 but should still be relevant, chain lightning will most likely die perm if it hasnt already due to stack haste being better with Lightning Bolt

dont have a nifty forum yet but i sugguest talk to Ossome dude is leet. only advice i have is watch ur mana and dont be afraid to chain heal especially if someone has a riptide on them it juices that baby up ^_^

healing as a shammy more or less takes experience with it. get a feel for how YOU heal and how much ur heals tick for. think dps in reverse not trying to empty hp but max it out but witout going over or losing mana for no reason.

for fights were tanks take an assload of damage but raid doesnt rip tide the tank as often as you can, ud b surprised how much that hot helps

also for resto make sure u have decursive cuz cleanse spririt rocks so you better use it!

side note:
wen i say rotation its not a set rotation for any shammy dps rotation anymore its more of "priority rotation" as in this spell is most important then this spell then this spell depending whats on CD
ex:
X>Y>Z
basically this would mean use x if not on cooldown(or if its a dot til its about to be off the mob), then y if not on cooldown, then z if not on cooldown etc,etc.
