Shawl of the Old Maid was not bought with dkp because it had spirit.
Illustration of the Dragon Soul was not bought with dkp.

and unless he was with another guild to get those items he had to be with us since his achievements clearly show that he did not down either of the bosses before he was with treated.

He obtained both of the items from raiding outside of the guild. As you can see from his attendance record he didn't get locked to the guild Sarth runs for the weeks from 3/3-3/10 or 3/24-3/31 or the guild Naxx for the week from 3/24-3/31. I also went back and looked at all the loot records of every drop that the guild has received specifically (these are all on the O Forums) and the two items in question were not looted to him by this guild that I can find any record of.

i know that trinket went to rolls last time it dropped, and there have been other instances where warlocks have refused to dkp upgrades and nothing has been done about it.

I took dkp for last weeks sarth raid, and believe me, the illustration is nowhere close to getting to rolls yet, at least 5 raiders DKPed and still needed it as of this monday.

Occasionally we do miss something, There are only 5 officers (only 1 in the raid the screenshot is from) to keep track of the gear of the other 20+ people in the raids, while we try to have an idea of what each player should be upgrading we cant catch everything all the time, if you do notice somebody rolling on something they should have dkped its probably a good idea to mention it to one of the officers during the raid, so we can check on it, and let them know that they are being charged dkp for the item.

Looks like Korge just had a lot to handle that night, so just chalk it up to human error and don't worry too much about it IMO.

We also do not require sidegrades to be dkped. doesnt apply in this case, but i saw it in your chat log and just thought i'd add that.
